Ashley's Graduation!!

My sweet little Ashley graduated for Pre-K. The kids had a great little program for graduation and then got to walk across the stage. So adorable! We're so proud of you Miss Ashley!

I having been saving these pics b/c I didn't want my mom to see them before Mother's Day. She had been asking {TELLING} me that I need to take the girls pics in the bluebonnets for months....so one day I took the girls up to a field by our house and snapped some photos and kept it a secret until Mother's Day - printed out some and framed them for gifts :)

Ashley kept picking the flowers -- and Kinsey kept trying to steal them and eat them....

We woke up, ate breakfast, loaded up the car, drove to the field, changed the girls into their "bluebonnet outfits" sat them up -- stepped back ready to take the best pictures ever --- and this is what I got --- a crying Kinsey {Kinsey NEVER EVER EVER cries} after about 30 minutes of nothing but my sweet baby crying -- we packed it up, changed the girls clothes, got back in the car, drove home for a nap.


But I was still determined to get the "perfect" kids in the bluebonnets shot - so after lunch we loaded back up the car drove back up there got out, got dressed, sat up for the picture -- and WAHHHHHHHHHH! not again! so out of character for my sweet smiley baby! I managed to get a few shots of her smiling and these are ones I will cherish forever!

With the girls at Ashley's school Mother's Day Tea. Ashley's class hosted a beautiful tea party for all the mommies. Such a sweet time spent with Miss Ashley!

I wanna see a gorilla...

Eric was home last Monday so we could take Kinsey to her dr's appointment and after we got the great news from that appointment we decided to do something fun --- so where else do you go on a nice Spring day?? THE ZOO!

Ashley was soooooo excited when we picked her up and told her where we were going. We definitely had a fun family day with the monkeys, lions, giraffes, & elephants; however I think Ashley's favorite part may have been the snake house....or maybe the bronze statues --- she took a picture next to EACH one we saw ;)

The zoo has a new section -- there is a restaurant that has one entire wall of glass and guess who Ashley found --- a LION! She stayed by the glass the entire time we fed Kinsey and enjoyed a snack ourselves. She thought this was the coolest thing ever.

Our church hosted a HUGE Easter Egg Hunt. The girls had a blast!

Ashley + George = BFF

George is a monkey -- he belongs to Mrs. Marcy's Pre-K Class. All of the kids in the class take turns letting George spend the weekend with them. We *finally* got George a few weekends ago and I cannot even begin to describe how EXCITED miss Ashley was when I picked her up from school. She came running to the door of her classroom so excited to tell me that George was coming home with her! We had a lot of fun with George and at the end of the weekend we made a scrapbook page of our weekend with George for Ashley to share with her class. This particular weekend was pretty busy (aren't they all?) because we were driving down to Houston to visit some of our closest friends, The Frey's.

Go LION QUEENS!

Ashley started playing soccer last fall and is really enjoying her second season on the Lion Queens this spring! She is learning the basics and is having a great time! She's such a cute little soccer player!

Kinsey likes going to the games and watching big sister from her stroller.

The Lion Queens finished up the season UNDEFEATED! Way to go, girls!!!! Looking forward to many more great season with our little miss soccer player!
