Ashley and Mommy waiting for the parade to start.

They were selling these cute little cuddly dogs on leashes -- so we got one for Ashley - she loves it! All of her dogs are named Bella {uncle Michael has a dog named Bella that Ashley just loves --- so she names each and every new dog she gets Bella...it is funny when she is saying her prayers at night - she thanks God for all things like her pillow, mommy and daddy, her polka dot sheets, nana and pops, gigi and granken, bella, other bella, other bella, that bella, other bella, and other bella}.

Here she is waiting paitently for the parade to start - we got there a few hours early :)

YEA! Here comes the parade - she didn't know what to think of it at first - she wasn't smiling - she was just waiving very slowly -- taking it all in, I suppose.

They had some great balloons - this really was a fun parade.

and Frosty...

and the Berenstain Bears...

Mr. Potato Head...{one of Ashley's favorites}

and Rudolph...

the parade ended with Santa.

Lady came over for a visit on Saturday - Ashley is so good at taking care of her - here she is walking her in the backyard ;) She loves Lady!

Merry Christmas from the cousin crew!

We headed to a local Santa's Village after a good long afternoon nap. The village was fun and the kids loved it!

Ashley with Nana & Pops

Eric, Pops, & Larry got to be the reindeer while the kids rode in the Santa's sled...they went so fast --- it scared Mommy!! There were no straps in that sled!! AHHH!

Alex and Ashley inside one of the little houses at Santa's Village.

Waiting in line to go into the Polar Bear Bank building where they used the ATM to get some money and then buy some stickers.

In the Symphony Building - playing their instruments.

Sam and Ashley just hanging out

Dear teenage kids that kept walking in front, jumping in front and flailing their body parts in front of our camera. Thank you for being in each and every one of the 7 pictures we took over a two minute period of time. Thank you for at least allowing us to get this one where you can at least see all our faces. I know that you were just having a good time and horsing around with your friends but I do hope that one day you will learn to be more aware of your surroundings.

Ashley wanted to see Santa inside his house SO BAD - but the line closed down early this particular evening --- so peering through the window was the best we could do. She absolutely loves Santa - it is precious!

How fun!! This is such a fun age, they actually get it this year! :)
The Adolphus is a great parade! This year we told Isabella that mommy and I were in it when we were younger. She looked at us and laughed...don't think she believed us.
