New Years Day we headed over to Matt & Kristen's for dinner. We had a great time and as always the food was super yummy!

Aunt Kristen and Ashley

We spent New Years Eve with Dick Clark and Crew. We had a good time making smores in the fireplace :) and watching Ashley dance around to the music on tv. Ashley stayed up and watching the ball drop in NYC and then it was off to bed for her. I think she had fun!

Dancin' Girl

Party horns anyone?
Ashley (the day after Christmas) playing with the boa and 'magic' wand that Rachel got for her.
Here are the 3 amigos with Nana and Pops after Christmas Lunch. The kids had a blast together (like always!)

This is the best pic we could get of the three of them by the tree...It's hard to get three kids under 5 to sit still for even two seconds!

We went to Gigi & Granken's to open presents Christmas morning and Ashley loved being a little ham for everyone and playing Santa and passing out all the gifts.

Ashley and Daddy - yea, Christmas!

Ashley opening her presents from Mommy and Daddy at home on Christmas morning. She is always singing the 5 little monkeys song - so we bought her this little book set. She loves singing the song while making the monkeys jump off the bed and using mommy to call the dr, etc.

Santa brought Ashley a Market Play Set - that also doubles as a Puppet Theater. She has had many puppet shows in the past few days and thinks it is also fun to set up the grocery store and push her little shopping cart around gathering up groceries. Way to go Santa!

Ashley's very first puppet show - on Christmas morning.

On Christmas Eve (Eve) we headed over to Nana & Pops house for dinner and to open presents with them. Ashley and her loot. She is one spoiled little toot!

Here are the kids - dishing out the presents and putting them into their own piles.

It was so cute and fun to watch Ashley this Christmas. She definetly understands the reason we celebrate Christmas - she talks about Baby Jesus daily. We are so glad that even at this young age she loves God and reading her Bible. It was so much fun to see how excited she was at each new activity we did this year to celebrate, whether it was going to see Christmas Lights, Seeing Santa, Visiting the Christmas Village, or the Trains at NorthPark, or opening presents with Family, Attending Christmas Eve Services at our Church, and then heading to the Farm to visit with Pops side of the Family, or decorating a Gingerbread House --- Ashley LOVED this special time! And is now saying every day in a sad voice, "Christmas is over" -- and the way she says it -- it's like she is asking a question...like hey mom and dad are you sure Christmas is over. It is cute! She had a blast and so did we - watching her really take it all in this year!
